Pentair, Inc. (NYSE: PNR) today increased the company's regular quarterly cash
dividend from 18 cents per share to 19 cents per share. The increase will be
effective with the dividend payable August 9, 2002, to shareholders of record at
the close of business on July 26, 2002. This is the 26th consecutive annual
dividend increase in the company's 36-year history.
