Pentair's Porter-Cable, Delta Tools Recognized For Performance, Features, and Value

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Pentair (NYSE: PNR) today announced that the editors of four national publications have recently recognized eight Porter-Cable and Delta tools for their superior performance, features, and value.

Popular Mechanics awarded Porter-Cable's Model 9884 19.2-Volt cordless drill its Editor's Choice award (February 2000 issue). Today's Homeowner named Porter-Cable's Model 9845 cordless saw as one of its Best New Products of 2000 (February 2000 issue). American Woodworker selected Porter-Cable's Model 7529 Plunge Router as an Editor's Choice (February 2000 issue) and named Delta's Model 22-560 and Model 22-540 Type 2 portable planers as Editor's Choice and Best Buy, respectively (April 2000 issue). Tools of the Trade named Porter-Cable's Model 7529 Plunge Router as its favorite among seven plunge routers tested (January/February 2000 issue), and chose Porter-Cable's line of 19.2-Volt cordless tools for its Editor's Choice award (May/June 2000 issue).
