ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec 20, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Pentair (NYSE: PNR)
announced today that Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, Roy T. Rueb, has
announced his intent to retire from the company effective December 31, 2001.
Rueb's treasury responsibilities will be absorbed by Michael G. Meyer, formerly
assistant treasurer, who has been named treasurer. The duties of the corporate
secretary will transfer to Louis L. Ainsworth, Pentair's senior vice president
and general counsel.
Rueb, 61, has served Pentair in treasury and finance capacities since joining
the company in 1979 as director of Corporate Accounting. Prior to joining
Pentair, Rueb served with Haskins & Sells, predecessor to the accounting firm of
Deloitte and Touche. A Certified Public Accountant, Rueb holds an accounting
degree from the University of Minnesota.
