MANCHESTER, United Kingdom - May 10, 2016 - Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR) announced today that it has named Karen Keegans as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective June 1.
Keegans joins Pentair with more than 20 years of corporate HR experience, most recently as vice president and chief human resources officer of Praxair, Inc. Prior to joining Praxair in 2012, Karen was at Monsanto for six years where she had increasing HR leadership roles, gaining global exposure across all business areas and was most recently VP, HR, Global Manufacturing.
Originally from Canada, Keegans has enjoyed a career spanning several industries including Financial Services and manufacturing. She has experience in sales, management and audit.

Keegans earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario. She will be based in Minneapolis at Pentair's main U.S. offices.
