May 12, 2017 - Pentair, a global company dedicated to building a safer, more sustainable world, has been named to Forbes' list of America's Best Employers 2017 - one of only 11 Minnesota companies on the list. This is Pentair's second consecutive appearance on the list, ranking 413 of 500 based on the publication's evaluation of large companies, nonprofit institutions and U.S. divisions of multinational companies.
"We are proud to once again be named one of America's Best Employers by Forbes," said Karen Keegans, Pentair Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. "This recognition is a testament to our Win Right values that are embraced by our employees, and are the heartbeat of our company. We win by delivering on our values of customer first, accountability for performance, and innovation and adaptability. And we do it the right way, through positive energy, respect and teamwork, and absolute integrity."
To compile the list, Forbes anonymously surveyed 30,000 American employees at companies that employ more than 5,000 people. Respondents were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer and how they feel about other employers in their industry. Employees were contacted anonymously online without the involvement of their employer.
The complete list of America's Best Employers of 2017 is available online and will be featured in Forbes' May 16 issue.
